This incredible piece measures approximately L3.7" x W 1.8".
A beautiful "wheat sheave" cluster of elongated Manganoan Calcite Crystals, with an pink coloration (stronger , richer pink color in fluorescent light as opposed to halogen light, under which these photos were shot). This gorgeous piece is over layed with Quartz. It is from a series of pockets which produced such pieces in mid-2011. Seems that since then, new pieces of this style are more uncommon. The pink, manganoan-rich calcite is fluorescent orange-red under UV light.
